Joyous Birth Forums

The world’s only forum devoted solely to home birth is right here, filled with energy, enthusiasm and information.

The safest way to birth now has a meeting place for all parents, professionals and community groups to gather, exchange information and offer support. A range of topics are covered including:-

Women planning home births after previously traumatic birth can do so in private and a special forum is devoted to the needs of partners as well. Another closed area of the forum allows women to privately process and seek support for miscarriage and stillbirth.

Those seeking more information or considering all their birthing options are welcome to join, explore and ask questions.Australia’s online and real life home birth network.

Have you birthed at home? Are you considering a homebirth?

We are a community of homebirthers, midwives, birth attendants and doulas, past, present and future across Australia and beyond.

Come along to socialise, feel supported and strengthened, share knowledge and experience and enjoy the company of others who believe in gentle birth.

Although we are not focussed on parenting, we promote and encourage gentle, evidence-based parenting, which complements our birthing practices.

We have a playgroup each Monday from 9.30am-11.30am which is held in the Kinma preschool. The majority of parents have an attachment / natural approach to parenting and it is a wonderfully supportive playgroup which offers children the opportunity for unstructured play in beautiful bushland surrounds, and parents a place where they won\'t feel out of place breastfeeding a toddler or talking about co-sleeping! Lots of co-sleeping, breastfeeding, home-birthing, cloth-nappy crazed mamas!
