It shits me to tears too. Laura Shanley had a stunning one up last week that was removed. It was oh so innocent and decent too.![]()

Dear all,
I am soooooo tired of beautiful birth presentations being removed off of
YouTube for a violation of service! It happens all the time, I have a
section on my forums for posting birth montages and we have to check them all the time as they get taken off YouTube, as well as other providers - but YouTube is obviously the biggest provider.
I am going to write to YouTube to encourage them to allow these
presentations and complain that they are being removed unreasonably.
Otherwise, I just might have to start my own birth video site!!!! It's
ridiculous, women don't witness birth much these days and aren't involved in it until their own most of the time, and even on the internet (where you can see much worse that a baby being born!) it's not allowed either! What's with the keeping birth from women?!
Here is the URL below - you don't need to write much, I know we all write
lots all of the time, so just let them know you have had enough of the
censorship of birth, and you'd love to be able to refer women to YouTube for some birth clips.

Please pass it on!

yeah - if seeing a woman give birth is soooo offensive to you - don't watch it! they're all appropriately titled! it's not like women are titling their birth videos with "funny moment must watch" to trick people into watching! if you don't want your children to see it either, be a parent and supervise your children while they're online. anyone know if those net-nanny programs would filter something like that out?

Check out this reply to a complaint someone made as part of this campaign! If you have old links to vids that you know of that have been taken down - get emailing!
