About Joyous Birth

Joyous Birth is a thriving community providing excellent support and evidence based information to birthing women and their families. Our online forum provides an avenue for woman and their birth partners to give and receive support, find local resources, and to gain access to relevant research concerning pregnancy, birth and parenting. The forums also provide a safe, compassionate and inclusive space for women to debrief about traumatic birth and the loss of a child.

Complementing the national online forum is a range of physical support groups and resources. Meetings occur regularly in most states of Australia. These meetings enable our members to socialise, get creative about birth and parenting, show off their beautiful children and to widen their circle of support. Our members also have access to resource libraries that contain books, computer files, movies, birthing pools, and the Pink Kit.
